This is a typical MCRN-IS mission team, which the Red Planet uses to strike at key MKM assets.  Intelligence operations are directed by an IS Lieutenant, who has several specialists, tactical robotic assets and often some local muscle under his command.  When direct action is called for, an MCRN Marine Corps Tactical Unit would have been placed on call, either in a nearby warship, or on board the IS team's vessel.
