Saturn's rings are harvested for its ice, to provide water for the various colonies scattered through the Solar System, particularly those of the Belt.
The planet itself is uninhabitable, but most of its 150 natural satellites have been settled. The once-UN controlled moon of Titan (which is by far the largest and represents 90% of the mass rotating around Saturn), now under the control of an explosive mix of OPA-affiliated groups and MKM subsidiaires, is renowned for its amazing dome resorts. The moon of Phoebe, which was controlled by Mars, was an off-limits and highly secretive research station, where the proto-molecule was secretly discovered in 2331.
